The Tulane Accelerated Physician Training Program (TAP-TP)

The Tulane Accelerated Physician Training Program (TAP-TP) is a seven year program for students who complete an abbreviated undergraduate curriculum, do a year of service with Americorp, and then attend four years at Tulane Medical School. Based on a recommendation from the SSE Curriculum Committee, the School of Science and Engineering established the Tulane Accelerated Physician Training Program (TAP-TP) Oversight Committee. The membership of this committee is as follows:

  • Two SSE Faculty Members
  • Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs in the School of Science and Engineering
  • Dean of Newcomb Tulane College
  • Sr. Associate Dean of the School of Medicine for Admissions
