Research Experience for Undergraduates
RISE is a summer internship program for undergraduate students from the United States, Canada and the UK in the fields of biology, chemistry, physics, earth sciences and engineering and offers unique opportunities for Bachelor students to work with research groups at universities and top research institutions across Germany for a period of 2 to 3 months during the summer.
NSF funds a large number of research opportunities for undergraduate students through its REU Sites program. A REU Site consists of a group of ten or so undergraduates who work in the research programs of the host institution. Each student is associated with a specific research project, where he/she works closely with the faculty and other researchers. Students are granted stipends and in many cases assistance with housing and travel.
If you are an undergraduate looking for multidisciplinary research opportunities that will open doors to a wealth of practical, hands on experience, browse through our available undergraduate support programs.
