RIVER-COASTAL SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING
Giving
As the Department River-Coastal Science and Engineering grows and evolves, returning water resources engineering to Tulane and researching river and coastal systems worldwide, we will need the support and generosity of alumni, parents, and friends. Several generous gifts (e.g. Charlotte Beyer Hubbell Fund, Flowerree Fund) thus far have enabled us to provide endowed professorships and attract some of the best and brightest to our department.
We have two major goals: (1) educating the next generation of river and coastal science and engineers and (2) becoming one the most successful departments at Tulane in attracting external research funding. To meet these goals we will need to attract blue-chip faculty and the best and brightest students at the undergraduate and graduate level. External gifts, both large and small, can be applied to these causes, especially including those designed for students. These include developing fellowships, internships, field experiences, travel funds, and research and achievement awards.
Two means of giving can be followed.

2) If you are interested in targeting your giving toward a specific purpose, please contact the Department Chair to discuss. For large or complex planning we would also encourage you to reach out to the School’s Development Officer:
