Biography
The reliability and precision of synaptic transmission is of paramount importance to the circuits of the auditory system, in which acoustic signals are encoded with sub-millisecond accuracy. Our lab is interested in understanding the mechanisms that control the presynaptic properties, neurotransmitter release, and neural signal integration at the cellular and circuit levels using auditory system in rodents.
