Neuroscience Majors

Note: This audit is intended as an advising tool for the student. Students should see their NSCI advisor and their college advisor regularly to ensure that coursework is appropriate and that degree requirements are being met.

Core Courses

Co-Requisite Courses

Note: A minimum of six credits of mathematics is required for the B.S. Any two Mathematics courses numbered 1210 and above may be used to satisfy this requirement. However the combination of MATH 1150 and MATH 1160 may count as one course toward this requirement.

Elective Courses

(Minimum of 12 credits, including minimum of 3 labs)

Elective Neuroscience Courses (Minimum of 6 credits)
Elective Lecture Course (Minimum of 3 credits)
Elective Laboratory Courses (Minimum of 3 labs, at least one NSCI Laboratory Course)

Note: Independent Study (3) or Honors Thesis (7) may count as 1 lab course and must be in the lab of a Neuroscience Faculty Member.
