Chair's Message
The Department of Psychology at Tulane University is committed to excellence in research, teaching, and community outreach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. We are the largest undergraduate major in the School of Science and Engineering. We offer graduate training at the doctoral level in School Psychology and Psychological Science, as well as 4+1 MS degrees in Psychological Science and in Behavioral Health. We also contribute to interdisciplinary majors including Neuroscience, Early Childhood Education, Cognitive Studies, Gender & Sexuality Studies, and Africana Studies. We strive to develop and maintain programs of excellence in research that contribute to our understanding of the social, contextual, developmental, evolutionary, and biological factors that underlie behavior.
