Department of Psychology
Research
Research is a central component to Department of Psychology. As noted in our mission, our research is conducted across multiple levels of analysis, from basic science and the neural bases of behavior to the broader social and cultural factors that shape human experiences. We seek to generate knowledge that improves the human condition and to train both graduate and undergraduate students in ethical, innovative, and collaborative research practices.
Facilities
The Department of Psychology occupies space primarily in Percival Stern Hall, with some faculty offices and lab spaces in Paul Hall, Flower Hall, and the Israel Building. Several faculty also maintain labs at University Square. The Department has extensive computer facilities for use in faculty and student research, as well as a computer classroom.
