Brain, Cognition, and Developmental Science

The Department of Psychology at Tulane is home to a vibrant community of scholars who use cutting-edge behavioral and neural methods to understand mental processes. Our students and faculty work together to investigate how abilities like perception, attention, emotion, learning, memory, and social cognition develop and function. We adopt an integrated approach and conduct studies with human infants, children, adolescents, adults as well as animal models.
