Tulane University’s AI Innovation Fellows program embeds full-time AI engineers into early-stage projects across research, entrepreneurship, industry, and civic tech. These AI professionals are mentored by Tulane’s AI faculty and rotate across teams to:
- Build AI prototypes for researchers to secure major federal grants.
- Co-create AI tools with nonprofits and public sector partners.
- Help startups rapidly test ideas and attract investment.
- Partner with industry on R&D and workforce development.

Funding for the AI Innovation Fellows program comes from CAIDS, the Office of the Provost, the Tulane Innovation Institute, and SSE's AI4All Taskforce.
