Why Tulane Neuroscience? What distinguishes this academic program from other colleges and universities?
Many colleges and universities do not offer a major in Neuroscience. Tulane's Neuroscience major allows students to pursue an interdepartmental curriculum that focuses on the nervous system and its role in regulating physiology and behavior, as well as providing research experiences in this field. The plan of study expands the knowledge base of students beyond that normally attainable in conventional majors and establishes an excellent foundation for future medical and graduate training.
