Special (Non-Degree) Students

Individuals who hold bachelor's degrees may enroll in graduate courses as a special student.  Permission to enroll in a course is at the discretion of the Department Chair and/or the Professor who is teaching the course, and likely will require evidence of appropriate preparation (e.g., transcript showing pre-requisite course work).

Tuition for enrollment in graduate-level courses in the School of Science and Engineering is 50% of regular graduate tuition.  Students may earn a maximum of 15 credits as non-degree special students.
