Class of 2025 Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony

Date: Friday, May 16, 2025
Time: 5:00 PM
Location: Caesars Superdome
Guests can enter through Gates A, B & C Plaza Level.  Doors will open 4:00pm for guests.  Tickets will NOT be required for entry.  Parking will be available for purchase at the Caesars Superdome.  Parking can be purchased at the following link: Buy Passes | EventPass 

Guest and graduates will park in Garages 5 & 6 and parking MUST be pre-purchased.

All School of Science and Engineering undergraduates participating in the ceremony should arrive in their regalia to GATE G by 3:30 PM on Friday, May 16.  Doors for graduates ONLY will open at 3:30pm.  Security screenings will take place prior to reaching GATE G.  Students will then proceed through GATE G to check-in tables to collect their walking card and handkerchief/beads for the recessional second-line. Students will then go to down to the ground floor (field level) to be seated in their designated sections (based on major). 

Important Note:

The University's Clear Bag Policy will be in effect for school-based diploma ceremonies. Approved bags are as follows:

·         Clear totes or bags no larger than 12" x 12" x 6". 
·         Small, non-clear clutch bags no larger than 4.5" x 6.5". 
·         Plastic, resealable storage bags no larger than one (1) gallon.

Graduate Hooding and Recognition Ceremony

Date: Thursday, May 15, 2025
Time: 2:00 PM
Location: Devlin Fieldhouse/Fogelman Arena

This ceremony celebrates students who have achieved PhD or master's level degrees in the Schools of Liberal Arts, Science and Engineering, and Medicine - Biomedical Sciences.

Students should arrive in their regalia at 1:00pm at the Goldring Woldenberg Business Complex.  Doors will open for guests at 1:00pm.  Tickets will NOT be required for entry.

Unified Commencement Ceremony

Date: Saturday, May 17, 2025
Time: 6:00 PM
Location: Caesars Superdome

The Unified Commencement ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 17, 6:00 p.m. at the Caesars Superdome. At this special milestone ceremony, which will feature an academic procession, keynote speaker, and live jazz, President Michael A. Fitts will officially confer degrees upon all Tulane University degree candidates (undergraduate, graduate, and professional). The Unified Commencement Ceremony lasts approximately 90 minutes. If you are considering dinner plans after the ceremony, we recommend allowing an additional 30 minutes for egress from the venue.

Tickets will be required for attendance at the Unified Commencement in the Caesars Superdome. Instructions for requesting tickets (up to 25 per graduate) will be shared in April via email and the Commencement website.
