Class of 2020 Commencement

  • Uptown Campus
Yulman Stadium

Commencement weekend is an opportunity for guests and graduates to celebrate the remarkable achievements of a student’s academic career at Tulane, and our commencement is unlike any other. Few classes in history have endured the level of disruption that the class of 2020 has experienced. As the first class in a century to graduate during a global pandemic, the opportunity to recognize and honor your academic accomplishments is on the horizon.

The ceremony's keynote address will be delivered by Col. Douglas G. Hurley, a 1988 Tulane graduate, NASA astronaut and commander of the first crewed test flight of the SpaceX Crew Dragon.

Class of 2020 graduates are required to complete the registration to participate in the Commencement weekend activities. Tickets are required for all guests of the graduates for the Class of 2020 Commencement Ceremony and Crawfest. Ticketing limits that were in place for the ceremony have been lifted to accomodate as many guests per graduate as needed. Registration must be completed by Friday, April 8th.
