Blue Cypress (bluecypress.io) is a technology incubator in New Orleans that builds SaaS and AI products exclusively for the social sector: nonprofits, professional associations, and NGOs. These organizations run much of civic life but have historically been last in line for modern software. We’re changing that. Our portfolio companies ship products like MemberJunction, an open-code data platform and agentic AI framework (docs.memberjunction.org). Blue Cypress Consulting works directly with associations to design and deploy production AI systems, data platforms, and agents that help them serve their members and communities. The work is cutting-edge and it matters.

Our three-year Technology Fellowship is built for recent CS graduates (bachelor’s or master’s, 0–2 years out) who want to compress a decade of career growth into three years. Fellows rotate across products and companies in the Blue Cypress ecosystem, work directly with the Chairman, CTO, and leadership team, and take on mentoring in Year 2 and project leadership in Year 3. Year 1 is in the New Orleans office alongside your cohort; after that, work from anywhere in the continental US. It’s demanding — this is a high-intensity program, not a comfortable first job — and fellows leave positioned to lead ventures, run engineering at portfolio companies, or start their own.
