Biography

Kelly Subramanian has conducted research during her academic and professional career related to mitochondrial biology, cellular signaling, and science education. She has taught a wide range of courses at institutions such as UC Davis, California State University–Sacramento, and Cosumnes River College. Passionate about student success and inclusive learning, she is dedicated to expanding student access to research opportunities through course-based undergraduate research experiences (CUREs). Her commitment to mentoring was recognized with awards for excellence in undergraduate research mentoring at both UC Davis and the College of William and Mary.
