Mr. Adams is currently the President and CEO of OGRS, LLC in Morgan City, Louisiana. His immediate past employment included Vice-Chairman, President and COO of Allis-Chalmers Energy, Inc. which in December 2006 acquired his previous employer, Oil & Gas Rental Services, inc., a premier rental equipment supplier to the oil and gas industry. He additionally serves on the Board of ATP Oil & Gas Corporation, Houston, Texas, on the Board and Past Chairman of the Offshore Energy Center, Ocean Star Museum, Galveston, Texas, on the Board and Chairman of the Government Affairs Committee of the National Ocean Industries Association, Washington DC and on the Board of Advisors of Tulane University School of Science and Engineering, New Orleans, Louisiana.
After obtaining a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering at Tulane University in 1983, Mr. Adams worked for Raymond, International, in their worldwide offshore construction group. Upon obtaining his Masters degree in Business Administration at Harvard University in 1988, Mr. Adams began working for Hydril Company. In 1996, he left his position of Managing Director of Hydril to assume the position of President and CEO of Oil & Gas Rental Services, Inc. He is an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, American Petroleum Institute and the American Association of Drilling Engineers in addition to serving on numerous local community boards.
