Each year, the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) in partnership with Tulane School of Science and Engineering hosts an annual FREE outreach program for both high and middle school students. The purpose is to expose students to the profession of chemical engineering and engineering in general, and to give students the opportunity to interact with professional engineers. Students will come away from the program with an understanding of what engineers in general and chemical engineers in particular do, how they touch our lives, and how to pursue a career in engineering. The next event is scheduled for January 23-25, 2017 with 200 students attending each day. Registration form will be available soon.
