Tulane SSE Career Fair Draws 360 Students Ready to Take Their Next Step
With résumés in hand and their sights set on internships and jobs, 360 students checked in at the Tulane University School of Science and Engineering Career Fair on Oct. 9. Held at the Lavin-Bernick Center, the event brought students and employers together for an afternoon of introductions, conversations, and career exploration.
Dressed professionally and ready to make an impression, students met with company representatives to discuss their interests, share their experience, and learn about potential opportunities. The strong turnout reflected students’ enthusiasm for putting their education to work and taking the next step toward their professional goals.
Among the company representatives were Tulane alumni, returning to campus to meet a new generation of prospective colleagues. Their presence offered students a connection with professionals who once stood in their shoes and an opportunity to learn where a Tulane education can lead.
For students, the fair provided a chance to explore employers, practice introducing themselves and make connections that could develop into interviews and offers. For participating companies, it was an opportunity to meet motivated students and learn about the knowledge, skills and perspectives they could bring to the workplace.
The School of Science and Engineering thanks the employers, alumni and students who helped make this year’s Career Fair a success. With 360 students taking the initiative to attend, the event demonstrated a shared commitment to connecting a Tulane education with meaningful professional opportunities.
