A postdoctoral research scientist is sought for a project that will involve the synthesis of metal cluster-based materials in the Straus lab (http://www.danielstraus.com) in the department of Chemistry at Tulane University, New Orleans, LA, USA. Inorganic and/or nanomaterials synthesis experience is required. Familiarity with thin film deposition methods, such as spin coating, is highly desired, as is experience with electronic device fabrication and characterization. Experience with optical spectroscopy would also be advantageous. Proficiency in speaking and in listening comprehension of English is essential for consideration.
The annual salary for this position is $56,484. Health insurance benefits are included. The initial appointment will be for one year and may be renewed subject to mutual agreement.
