The goal of the Busschaert group is to use supramolecular chemistry to solve problems in medicine, sensing and other fields. Our main focus revolves around lipid bilayers, such as the recognition of biological membrane components, transmembrane transport processes and the use of lipid bilayers as a barrier or protective shell.
