Steve Dehmlow is Chairman and CEO of Synergy 55 Inc, a family-owned company headquartered in Arlington Heights IL. Synergy55 provides management services for businesses held by affiliates. Businesses include Composites One LLC, Sharp Packaging Systems LLC and GLS Transport Inc.
Composites One LLC is a distributor of raw materials used in the manufacture of fiberglass and advanced composites components. Composites One operates 32 distribution centers across North America supplying manufacturers in the marine, consumer recreation, energy, defense, construction and transportation industries.
Sharp Packaging Systems LLC manufactures flexible packaging materials and packaging machinery. Sharp specializes in producing pre-opened bags and customized bag-filling machinery systems for mail-order fulfillment and manufacturing.
GLS Transport Inc. provides chemicals and fuels trucking and logistics support in the Midwestern US. In addition to transportation, GLS also offers maintenance and repair services for trucks and trailers.
Additionally, Synergy55 provides management oversight for investments in several small manufacturers and industrial real estate developments.
Prior to joining Great Lakes Synergy in 1981, Mr. Dehmlow started his career with Shell Chemicals after earning his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Tulane University. He also has a Masters in Management from Northwestern’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
