Monique Meche is Head of Global Public Policy at Waymo, formerly the Google Self-Driving Car Project. Prior to joining Waymo, Monique was Vice President of Global Public Policy at Netflix and also Vice President of Global Public Policy at Amazon. Earlier, she was Vice President of Government Affairs and Corporate Social Responsibility at ArcelorMittal, the global steel and mining company. Monique previously worked in the technology sector for twenty years, at Cisco responsible for public policy in Europe, Middle East and Africa, and prior to that, at Intel, where she managed public policy in Europe, then as Managing Director of Intel Capital, where she invested in start-up companies in the US, Asia and Europe.
Monique holds a B.A. degree in International Relations from Tulane (magna cum laude) and a graduate degree from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium. Monique works and resides in Washington D.C.
