Sam Huffman is a senior trading strategist specializing in leveraged loan and distressed credit research. He has coverage responsibility for the aerospace & defense and healthcare sectors.
Huffman began his career at Bank of America in the funds management group as a money market trader. He has held numerous positions including manager the bank’s U.S. Treasury repo funding desk and trading book, proprietary interest rate trader, emerging markets debt trader, and high yield credit research analyst. He has been in his current position since 2001.
Huffman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical engineering from Tulane University and a Master of Business Administration degree in finance and real estate from Columbia Business School.
