Mr. Mead is a public company board member and former public company chief financial officer. He is currently on the board of directors for Easterly Government Properties (NYSE: DEA) where he chairs the Audit Committee and is a member of the compensation committee. In addition, Mr. Mead is on the Board of Advisors and member of the Fairness Opinion Committee for the CenterCap Group, a boutique New York City based investment bank. Previous experiences included roles as chief financial officer for Alexander & Baldwin (NYSE: ALEX), a diversified real estate company with land holdings, vertically integrated paving operations and commercial real estate located in Hawaii, and the chief financial officer of SL Green Realty (NYSE: SLG), a S&P 500 commercial real estate company with properties in New York City. Mr. Mead has held senior executive roles in real estate companies across retail, lodging, office building, industrial and apartment sectors. He began his career in New York City in investment banking with JP Morgan.
Mr. Mead has an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University and an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Colgate Darden School of Business Administration.
