Tulane Instrumentation for Nanoscience & Innovation (TINI)
Tulane Instrumentation for Nanoscience & Innovation (TINI) is a university-wide department operating within the School of Science and Engineering for the management of shared research equipment. The TINI laboratory personnel maintain the equipment and assist researchers with method development and data collection. They also train students and researchers in the use of the shared equipment. By having trained professionals that are responsible for its day-to-day operation, the TINI and end-users are ensured that instrumentation is being well maintained, necessary supplies are on hand, and consistently reliable data are being generated.
Mission Statement
Tulane Instrumentation for Nanoscience & Innovation will provide easy access to sophisticated research equipment, applications support for research instrumentation, and service support for scientific instruments. These services will be provided to the academic and industrial communities in the Greater New Orleans and Gulf South region.
