After creating eroded copper particles, Jeremy Wright, a doctoral candidate working in the lab of professor Brian Mitchell in the Tulane Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, transfers the particles for analysis to determine if nanoparticles are present. The nanoparticles will eventually be used to create metal-based 3D printed objects with finer features.
