Biography
Dr. Feiler is a Professor of Practice in the Psychology Department at Tulane. He holds a PhD in Educational Psychology and Neuroscience from The University of Alabama, where he researched the roles of spatial thinking and embodied cognition on science ability using functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS). Dr. Feiler received his MS in human anatomy from the University of Colorado School of Medicine and his BS from the University of Richmond.

Dr. Feiler studies spatial reasoning and embodied cognition. Although he does not directly supervise graduate students, he does recruit undergraduate research assistants and serves on graduate dissertation committees.
